Hydrosim52

Hydrosim52 is a program that uses the kinematic method to calculate overland runoff. It can generate design rainfall based on regional parameters and provide synthetic storm patterns. It also accepts coefficients from standard IDF curves or user-provided hyetograph.

Hydrosim V employs the kinematic method to compute overland runoff – generally accepted as being the most accurate mathematical representation of the rainfall-runoff process. Design rainfall can be generated based on regionalised parameters, such as Inland/Coastal Region and Mean Annual Precipitation. Rectangular, triangular and Chicago-type synthetic storm patterns are available. Alternatively, the user can input coefficients from standard IDF curves for synthetic rainfall, or else a user-provided hyetograph.
